The new Real Madrid boss Santiago Solari is having a good time with his new team. As far he faced 6 matches and lost only one. He even won his first four matches in a row. What type of football is his team is playing now? I tried to find it out and I'll try to write them now.

Formation & Tactics -

As we have seen, he's using a 4-3-3 formation in paper, but in field his team changes it's formation, his Real Madrid team uses a 2-1-2-5 formation while they're on the attack. With Ramos and Varane they make a center back doo, Casemiro sits in front them as a defensive mid, Kroos and Modric stays in front of Casemiro, in this team Kroos plays the role of a deep lying playmaker, Modric has the freedom for roaming behind the attack line. Real Madrid attakas with five man, Marcelo and Carvajal become the widest player on the pitch while they are attacking, the front trio makes a narrow shape so that those two fullbacks can get spaces in the wide area. They hit in opponents box with cross from the widest player or through ball from the midfield, Solari is using Bale's speed for chasing through ball from the midfield. And he is also giving Bale his natural position, Bale is now playing as a left winger though the front trio changes their position with each other for trying to make a havock, with the havock the opposition defense beocome confused about that who'll take the shot, who'll hit the killer blow, sometimes Benzema does the job, sometimes Vasquez, sometimes it's Bale who hits the net. Solari's team use both long and short pass for buildup the play. when the midfield/fullbacks found that a forward is trying to make a run, they hit a long ball. Without this they use short pass but they don't hold the ball for a long period, they try to play one touch football and with that they can get a speedy transition. He also permits long shots from the midfield. This is the story while they have the ball or they are attacking.

For defense Solari uses a  4-1-4-1 formation, he likes to press with his frontline when the ball is in the opponents half, when the ball is in Madrid's half Solari uses all out defense, only Bale/Benzema remains in the opposition's half while they are defending, the defensive mid sits between the fullbacks and the center backs when they are defending in front of their own box, they uses jonal marking for backing up every position.

That's what I've found after watching the last 6 games of Real Madrid. If I made any mistake in my writing then please pardon me.
